"A Small, Country-Friendly Church with a BIG Heart"
In August 1911, a Baptist Revival was held at the Elm Grove School, which had served as a worship site for several churches for approximately twenty years.  When the school closed in 1915, only the Baptist congregation continued to use the building, and did so until 1999, when the original school building was removed from the site to make way for new construction.  Christian outreach has been an important part of the church's ministry since the congregation's earliest days.  The church continues today to collect clothing and toys for needy children and support a local food pantry and a local clinic.  Elm Grove Baptist Church has also been proud to serve as a place of training for ministerial students throughout its existence.

About Us

We are a Biblically conservative church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. Our church is committed to touching people's lives, and accordingly, our services incorporate audio visuals to enhance the presentation of the good news. This fresh presentation will keep your interest and encourage you to come back the following week.

Many of our members are Veterans and we have an especially deep appreciation for those who are.

Our pastor is an avid motorcyclist so if you prefer riding your bike to church, "throttle up!"

Elm Grove is also a church with a social conscience. We support a local ministry that provides medical and dental care for those who might not otherwise receive it. We also support a food bank and have just begun supporting a ministry that provides care for single mothers, a boys ranch and a children's home.

For worshippers who need it, we have a hearing assist program to assist them in hearing the service. We also have a Junior church service for children during the morning worship time.

If you are looking for a church that holds to a historic faith, is committed to being a blessing to those around us and endeavors to make your worship experience meaningful then please pay us a visit. Let us show you what "Country Friendly" looks like!
